We have a physical womb, and a metaphysical womb that is connected to a higher consciousness.

When our womb space is clear enough and energized enough, we can begin to bring through new energy from a source that is beyond us.

When there’s been a hysterectomy, the metaphysical womb is still present.

Energising The Womb Centre

Doing this practice for just 5 minutes a day to start with, will get you on your way to operating from your womb centre. Use it as a guide and follow your intuition, making adjustments to suit.

Get comfortable in any sitting position, close your eyes.

Breathe in and out slowly and deeply through the nose, with the mouth closed and the throat slightly closed, so that you make a sound as you breathe.

On the in breath, pull all your focus into the womb centre. Fill that space with your breath.

On the out breath – still with your mouth closed – direct your awareness and breath down from your mind, into the womb.

Do this with a dynamic breath 4 to 6 times, then allow your breath to become lighter and settle to a more natural rate that feels comfortable to continue, but retains the focus and breathing technique.

You’ll feel yourself breathing in and out from your womb centre.

Important Note: You may feel slightly faint or dizzy if you do too much deep breathing too soon. Don’t push yourself. Do what you can. Dynamic breathing gets your chi moving. This dislodges stagnant chi and as it’s releasing it produces a slight dizzy feeling. You’re encouraged to go at your own pace, and to do the practice from a base of self-love. Go gently and patiently with focus.
