The Mother Line Wound

This is a Medicine Poem.

The words come with an energy with the intention of shifting consciousness.

EXERCISE

Turn off all distractions. Read the words silently. Read the words out loud.

Start drawing, writing, dancing, singing, whatever you wish.

Just start moving your body and psyche.

Become the poem….

Through oceans of time
The thread of The Mother Line
Goes right back to Source.

From the heart we can trace
The bitter sweet embrace
Of the Mother, the breast,
The life given with unrest

Womb after womb
Wound after wound
Eking down the line
Compounded and confined

To lie in the darkness
And let those echoes unfold
Melts the brittle silence
That keeps these stories untold

You could be
The one to break-through
Don’t shoulder the blame
As you carve out the new

Coming through this stuff
Takes guts and pain
It’s time to recognise
Your efforts are not in vain

Stand tall
And rise from entangled growth
Relinquish the conditions
That keep you stuck and under oath

Release expectations
Of all that you wish
From your Mothers so dear
This leaves you both clear

Yes there is rage
Yes there is love
For the woman that fed you
Fear and joy from above

Recognise the split
This double edged sword
Of the Mother line wound
And heal the chord

Go beyond the personal
Out past the edge
To expand your horizons
To live before you’re dead

Free of blame, free of shame
With the Unborn we All cry
On home to The Great Mother
Where as Sisters, We Unify.
