Soul-Deep
Liberation
For women in perimenopause & beyond who feel cracked open, disoriented, or that life no longer fits.
Trauma-specialised and metaphysically grounded support for self-realisation and self-actualisation in the second half of life.
If perimenopause activated, cracked you open, and has you unattached from your life, disoriented, isolated, and googling flights to your own little beach hut far from anyone else, this is for you.
Whatever’s blown apart, it’s not a malfunction. It’s nature’s doorway, and it’s a big one.
So many of us show up here already fluent in emotional intelligence — yet our lives can suddenly feel like we’re wearing someone else’s clothes. That doesn’t mean anything is ‘wrong’. That’s perimenopause going where our twenties, thirties, and first half of life, frankly, just couldn’t reach.
The real roots of what’s unresolved come up for completion, and our relationship changes to ourselves, our bodies, the world, and to life and death itself.
However, the roots are only half of it. Perimenopause isn’t something we experience and then go ‘back’ to normal — it demands our presence and changes us every step of the way. Knowing that what we’re experiencing is natural, universal, and completely valid is medicine in itself.
This is where I come in — supporting you to meet the roots, and guiding you to work with all aspects of perimenopause in real time: the composting, the black fire, the mini-deaths, how to navigate all of it rather than white-knuckle your way past.
You can be met in the mess. You can be understood. And you can move through this and come out the other side renewed, at home in your body, in your power — no longer giving a f*ck what anyone thinks.
I can’t say this enough – the validation and understanding of being with someone who has clearly lived her way through this is half the battle won.
I thought I was going crazy. I had left my marriage with no real plan. I had moved to another country thinking that would solve it. And it did, for about 30 seconds!
What we covered in 3 months is nothing short of unimaginable from when I first clicked ‘schedule your session’.
Through the shadow work, finally having my inner critic support me, the connection with my womb and Melanie’s clear presence (I can’t emphasise the last point enough – the relief that came from being supported by another woman in her power, cheering me on to follow what I had known all along) was viscerally healing.
If you’re considering this work, I can highly recommend Melanie. I felt relaxed, supported, and understood right from the first session. I’m not sure where I’d be without it.
Perimenopause is not a medical condition to be fixed. It's a natural and potent transition that crafts us into our wise woman era.
How We Work Together
There’s no five-step linear plan; we start exactly where you’re at. Perimenopause moves in a spiral — through phases we cycle back into again and again, each pass going deeper, each one crafting us further into who we’re becoming.
Disorientation — detaching from our old markers.
Overwhelm — it can feel like everything, all at once.
Rage — different types of rage pointing to different roots.
Grief — natural closing of the first half of life.
Simplification — stripping everything down to what’s actually needed.
Hermiting — the fierce, non-negotiable need for space and silence.
Composting — the necessary breakdown before anything new can grow.
Completing — old identities, old relationships, old patterns.
The Void — unblending the void of lack from the true void within, ever pregnant with potential.
Restoration — desire, core needs, life force, voice, and genuine connection.
Renewal — juicy, erotic, the true you.
Emerging — raw, gritty, more alive in your body than you’ve been in years.
If what you’re experiencing isn’t named here, bring it anyway; these are common experiences of perimenopause, and they are also not sequential.
The work meets you at every track of the spiral — with root-level trauma resolution, shadow work, soul and energy work, and guidance based on experience, all moving through this life, past lives and generational lineages.
I meet you with 24 years of clinical precision, plus a multi-dimensional read on what’s happening in your system before it’s even reached consciousness (I’m clairvoyant, clairsentient, and clairaudient) — that’s what gets us there faster than analysis or talking ever can.
When I first emailed Melanie, I was feeling very confused. I’d done a lot of personal development, but some fears were lingering way beyond their sell-by date. I could feel there was something stopping them from completing, and I couldn’t see what, so that’s why I sought out some help.
To pinpoint what it was in the first session was surprising, but I was relieved. An old, old wound was still affecting me, and I was able to feel it all because of the internal grid we did. I’ve never felt so solid.
Over 3 sessions, the trigger in my relationship that brought me here diminished, and I was actually able to hear my husband when he brought up a need, and I was finally able to understand that there’s nothing wrong with me. A lot of what I was feeling was part of our collective experience as women in perimenopause. Being validated and not gaslit into thinking we have to be nice and pleasing was incredibly refreshing.
I’m really grateful I found this support. There aren’t many therapists that understand perimenopause properly. After 3 sessions, I feel refreshed, I believe in myself and my body more, and to my surprise, my sex drive is back.
If you’re struggling in perimenopause, don’t hold back with this. It changed my trajectory for the better.
WHY WE NEED WISE WOMEN
We’re one of the first generations to go through this with global communication, an emerging shared language, and a growing sense that our power has been flipped.
There’s a collective stream of women who know we’re not here for our vaginas to dry up like raisins, to sit on a shelf and clock off.
Underneath the medicalisation and hormonal drama, there’s a wellspring rising within us. We’re not imagining that. The wisdom isn’t missing; we just forgot how to handle it.
A woman able to own and direct her own current — fully in her body, fully in her authority, answering to no one — isn’t easy to control. That woman is needed in our culture.
Both as a living embodiment of what’s possible, and to guide other women back home to themselves.
This isn’t about ‘just getting through’ perimenopause. It’s about looking beyond the physical changes and embracing the whole process as something necessary for ourselves and the evolution of our collective consciousness.
It’s about remembering what a wise woman actually is — vibrant, sovereign, erotic, powerful — because she’s not out there to find.
She’s already in us, and activates at perimenopause.
This is for you if:
- You’re in perimenopause and everything has cracked open.
- You’ve tried HRT, supplements, or lifestyle changes and something still doesn’t feel right.
- You’ve done years of therapy or personal development, and perimenopause has surfaced something none of it reached.
- Your relationship has cracked open, and you know it’s not really about the relationship.
- You want to understand what’s happening in your system at the root, not just cope with what’s presenting.
- You’re ready for direct, contained work — not an open-ended weekly conversation.
- You are willing to take full responsibility for your own process.
This is not for you if:
- You are looking for someone to listen without challenge, or to validate that peri is happening to you rather than through and with and for you.
- You want to explore your patterns without taking responsibility for them.
- You think that if other people, your partner, men, or the world would just change, you’d be ok.
- You’re in an active or ongoing mental health crisis — a stable enough foundation and environment are needed for this depth of work.
- You want the difficulty to go away rather than move through it and learn from it.
- You’re not willing to do practices between sessions to deepen the changes.

I was going through uncertainty — in my work, in my life. Perimenopause. My daughter had just gone to university and my mum was having a number of health issues. I felt lost. I needed to find who I really wanted to be — not just what others expected of me.
In the session, what started to happen was a letting go of past fears through lost memories. I began to feel internal confidence returning when I realised how strong I had been throughout my life. I felt I could stop doubting myself.
One moment stands out above all others. I realised I had created my own support figure in a traumatic situation as a child — and all this time I had thought it had been someone else who comforted me. Realising that the older lady was actually a version of me was an incredible moment. One I probably would never have had without Melanie.
What felt different about how we worked was the way I was encouraged to explore my own thoughts without pressure — without answering lots of questions, or feeling like it was just that time of life.
Now there is a huge difference in confidence, acceptance, and excitement about the future. Not dread, not anxiety, nor pressure to keep up to past expectations. I feel I’ve passed through a difficult phase, and now it’s time for adventure on my own terms.
I’m loving not knowing what’s out there instead of dreading it. I feel way more relaxed, enjoying the rhythm of my days. Not back to who I used to be. I’m always growing into who I will become.
After this one session with Melanie I started to feel lighter, and things really started to shift. It’s been a few months now — the difference in me since that session hasn’t faded. It just keeps getting better.
PERIMENOPAUSE FAQs
PERIMENOPAUSE
I don't know if what I'm experiencing is perimenopause, trauma, or something else. Does it matter?
It doesn’t, because disorientation is actually the first stage of perimenopause, not a sign that something is wrong, although it can definitely feel like it.
The sense that you don’t know what’s happening, that the ground has shifted, that you can’t get your bearings — that is perimenopause beginning.
What makes it harder to identify is that perimenopause and unresolved trauma amplify each other. Perimenopause opens the subconscious — what needs attending to begins to surface. If there is unresolved material there, peri will find it. So what presents as perimenopausal disorientation is often also early trauma, attachment wounding, or generational patterns becoming much more visible.
This work doesn’t require a diagnosis from a GP. Perimenopause is not a medical ‘condition’! We follow what your system is showing — somatically, energetically, and, after building capacity, we process the roots. Whether it’s peri, trauma, both, or something that doesn’t yet have a name, the body knows what needs attending to.
I'm in perimenopause and everything feels like too much. Is this suitable for me?
Yes — and perimenopause is precisely why.
When everything feels like too much, your body has stopped allowing the compromise. The subconscious is open. What has been buried is surfacing. This is not a crisis. This is the intelligence of your own system, forcing truth.
The work meets you exactly here — not to manage what’s arising, but to understand it, move it, and let it craft you into your truth. I totally understand that it’s not easy. I’m in the latter stages of peri, so I can confidently guide you through.
Here’s a podcast and blog that may offer some insight into what you’re going through >
I've tried HRT, supplements, and lifestyle changes and still don't feel right. Can this work help?
Absolutely — and what you’re describing is very common.
Supplements and lifestyle changes can be genuinely helpful. They support the body through the physical recalibration of perimenopause and can make a real difference to symptoms. But they work at the level of the physical system — they can’t reach the emotional, psychological, and soul-level of what’s surfacing.
If something still doesn’t feel right after addressing the physical layer, it usually means there’s deeper material ready to be met.
Unresolved attachment wounds, nervous system patterns running since childhood, generational imprints, or soul-level themes that perimenopause has brought to the surface — these don’t respond to supplementation. They need to be followed to their root and resolved there.
I’m in the final stages of perimenopause myself. I know the fog, the searching, the trying everything, and still questioning if something is wrong or not. That’s exactly the territory we cover — what’s underneath the physical, and what’s been waiting for this stage of life to finally surface.
I want to assure you there’s nothing inherently wrong. Our culture has few or no markers for women to take time out for this transformation. However, the wisdom is gradually being restored, and I’m here to support you through this as a powerful rite of passage.
Perimenopause has cracked my relationship open. Can this work help?
Absolutely, and please know that you’re not alone in this. It’s very common for relationships to destabilise or crack at this point in life.
Perimenopause strips away the tolerance, the accommodation, and the management of what wasn’t working. What feels sustainable in the first half of life no longer does. Relationships that were running on unspoken compromise, unmet needs, extraction from the other, or fear-based patterns become undeniably visible and unsustainable.
This isn’t perimenopause breaking your relationship. It’s perimenopause, revealing what was already there. The estrogen veil has come off and bared all.
The work doesn’t focus on the relationship directly — it focuses on you. What are the patterns you bring? What attachment wounds are being activated? What does your system believe about love, connection, and whether you feel safe in your body?
When those roots shift, the relationship dynamic shifts with them — because you are no longer the same woman responding from the same place.
Women find that the relationship either genuinely transforms or they gain the clarity to make decisions they couldn’t make before. Either way, the work returns you home to yourself – your truth, your life force and sovereignty.
*Note: Marriage is a human-made construct created for the security of property and male-centric lineage. Sometimes women realise this and simply don’t want to live under the guise anymore. Women are not something to be owned, and children carry a woman’s mitochondrial DNA. So the bloodline is actually through the mother.
Is womb healing relevant for perimenopause?
Yes — absolutely.
The womb is our seat of power — intuition, deep wisdom, and the ability to create from alignment with love. When we are disconnected from our womb and cycle, that disconnection surfaces at perimenopause as resentment, grief, rage, and a loss of a sense of truth.
So yes — womb work is woven through everything we do together. The results consistently have women asking: how was I living without this before?
WORKING TOGETHER
What is Soul-Deep Liberation?
Soul-Deep Liberation is a trauma-specialised womb healing and soul work process that helps women resolve repeating emotional patterns, attachment wounds, nervous system dysregulation, perimenopause challenges, and womb-related symptoms by working at the root level of consciousness, body, and energy.
It works at the intersection of clinical trauma resolution and multi-dimensional, metaphysical healing. It utilises the best of both worlds: the grounded, tried and tested pathways that bring the nervous system back into the present, alongside the more energetic, mystical aspects of life that have been recognised by spiritual traditions for centuries.
I've done years of therapy and healing work, and I'm still stuck - is this more of the same?
No, it isn’t — and this is a key question to ask, as I understand your frustration. You want to get to the actual roots.
This is not talk therapy, coaching, or open-ended processing. Sessions are contained, direct, and multidimensional — we work at the root, not the surface.
Where therapy tends to move horizontally — mapping patterns, building insight, tracking the story — this work moves vertically, into the root system: this life, past lives, and generational lineages. Most women find it reaches places that years of previous work didn’t.
The reason good therapy can leave something untouched is not a failure of the therapy or the therapist. It’s that the root system often spans beyond this life and beyond conscious memory — into the womb, into the body’s earliest imprinting, into what was inherited from the lineage. That’s the territory this work covers.
One session can shift what months of circling couldn’t. Not because it’s faster, but because it goes deeper.
What modalities do you draw on?
The work integrates Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), somatic parts work, shamanic healing, soul retrieval, past life resolution, generational healing, nervous system education, attachment theory and repair, womb healing, shadow work, energy healing, solution-focused therapy, and dynamic transformation coaching — all held within a trauma-specialised (not just trauma-informed) framework.
Sessions are not protocol-led. The modalities are all seamlessly integrated and serve the person, not the other way around.
Do you work with therapists and healers?
Yes — and a significant proportion of the women who come to this work are therapists, healers, bodyworkers, somatic practitioners, and healing arts professionals.
They come because they understand what’s needed for deep inner work — and they want someone who can meet them there who has also done not just trauma processing, but also is engaged in continuous restoration and awakening.
Often, women arrive having done years of their own therapy and training, knowing exactly what’s possible in theory, and still find that something fundamental hasn’t shifted. That gap is often served by the in-utero work, generational healing, womb connection and soul-deep resolution.
If anything, working with practitioners requires a particular kind of precision and honesty. The clinical understanding is already there. What’s needed is someone willing to go to the root without colluding with the sophistication of the defences.
What are the common issues you work with? Do they include physical symptoms?
Yes — this covers the full range of what perimenopause brings up: physical, emotional, psychological, and soul-level. Women come with:
Identity & Disorientation — not recognising yourself, decisions that made sense for decades suddenly not fitting, the ground shifting under a life that used to work.
Emotional Overwhelm & Rage — new or intensified anxiety, rage with no obvious trigger, grief that arrives out of nowhere, everything surfacing at once.
Body & Nervous System — sleep disruption, fluctuating energy, heightened senses, a body that won’t settle — plus womb and cycle symptoms that intensify or shift shape as hormones change.
Relationships — partnerships, friendships and roles that no longer fit, patterns that were sustainable before and aren’t now.
Work, Money & Visibility — invisible ceilings, creativity or income that won’t move, the sense that something’s capped.
Core Wounds Surfacing — the mother wound, the father wound, old attachment patterns resurfacing with new intensity, because perimenopause opens what the first half of life never had to touch.
Distorted Feminine & Masculine — doing too much, undernourished, unsure what your own authority actually feels like.
Restoration — desire, creativity, core needs, agency, life force, sovereignty, returning.
If what you’re experiencing isn’t listed here, bring it. The presenting issue is always the doorway to deeper material.
PRACTICALITIES
What if I'm already in therapy? Can I do both?
For the soul-deep clarity call – yes.
This work sits at a different level to conventional therapy and is complementary to it. Many of the women who come to this work are therapists and healers themselves, and many come for deeper and multi-dimensional root and restoration work.
Where therapy tends to explore and process horizontally — mapping the patterns, building insight, tracking the story (useful and valid) — this work moves vertically, into the root system, both in this life and across your consciousness. What you are processing in therapy will often accelerate significantly once the root layer is reached here.
If you have an existing therapeutic relationship you trust, keep it, and simply pause if you book a package. I can summarise with you brief notes to take back to your therapist.
Can I book clarity calls when I need them?
Sure. However, if deeper, more consistent work is what’s needed, then ad hoc clarity calls won’t get you what you actually want.
However, ad hoc is totally suitable for some people.
Let’s see what’s needed at your first session.
Can I work with you online?
Yes. All sessions are conducted online via Zoom. Women come to this work from around the world, typically the UK, US, Europe and Australia — but wherever you are, we can usually work out a time.
If you go to book and can’t find a time that works, email me at melanie@thesacredwomb.com
Can I work with you in person?
Yes. If you’d like to come to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to work in person, that is also possible. Pricing is the same either way. The first step in both cases is to book a Soul-Deep Clarity Session — from there, we can assess what is needed and what form the work will take.
How long can I work with you for?
I work with people for anything from a single session to 6 months, depending on what’s needed. The maximum is 6 months in one stretch. After that, it’s helpful to take a break, and then you’re welcome to come back.
Can I do intensive work with you?
You sure can. If you have the space and motivation, this is an excellent way to build momentum. I love working this way.
An example of this would be getting clear on what you want and what’s stopping you, then working together up to 5 times a week to dissolve the fear and programming, and restore your natural state.
This helps you gain real momentum, minimises dissociation between appointments, and maintains the thread that weekly appointments don’t give.
State that on your form when you book your initial clarity session, and we can arrange what’s suitable.
Is there anything I can do to prepare for my soul-deep clarity session?
Yes. Simply sit quietly, put a hand on your body and feel the rise and fall of your breath. Feel your hand on your body, the temperature, the texture, and listen to your breathing. Visualise calm ocean waves and synchronise your breathing with the gentle natural rhythm of the ocean.
Then, after a few moments, ask yourself, ‘What do I truly want?’ Take the first thing that comes. That is something we can use as a compass in the work. Meeting and dissolving pain is part of the pathway, but orienting the work to something love-based will give your session a focus that is much more stable.
You don’t have to have it all figured out; that’s what the session is for. When you fill out the booking form, there are brief questions on there which act as a starting point.
Does this work replace medical care?
Not at all. Soul-Deep Liberation can work alongside conventional medical care, not instead of it.
If you have physical symptoms — including womb and cycle conditions such as fibroids, PCOS, endometriosis, or painful periods — please ensure they are assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
This work addresses the emotional, psychological, energetic, and soul-level roots of what’s presenting. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical intervention that you may choose to have.
I will happily work as part of your team of professionals. Transformation is not about segmentation or one way only. I encourage you to work with whoever and whatever is necessary to restore a healthy, thriving system.
REFERRALS
If I book a clarity call and this work isn't suitable, what happens?
During the clarity session, we’ll map out what’s presenting, what’s stuck, how resourced you are, the roots of what’s going on, and what needs to happen to get you where you want to be.
If for some reason this work isn’t suitable right now, I will absolutely point you in the right direction. Some people need a specialist in their area; others could really do with not talking at all and need to engage in bodywork such as craniosacral therapy, and sometimes longer-term psychotherapy is better, especially if you’re in the early stages of your healing journey.
Whatever the reason, the soul-deep clarity call can be taken to the relevant specialist, and you can be clear about what you want. Often, that’s half the struggle taken care of. I can also recommend trusted colleagues who offer some alternatives where relevant.
This looks great, but I need long-term, more traditional therapy, can you recommend anyone?
Sure, here’s a list of people I recommend. They have trained with me in some form, so I personally know of their work and they may offer an approach that is more suitable. Womb Medicine Woman Directory >
