Why Money Blocks Are Hard To Budge — and How to Resolve Them at the Root

Women and MONEY! Why are so many women struggling to earn, receive and retain money?!!

Women are conditioned—subtly and overtly—to emotionally over-give, to feel guilty for charging for their time, to equate compassionate with “low fee,” and not to have “too much.”

Add attachment patterns that mean receiving can feel existentially loaded, generational trauma that women simply can’t survive without a man (and his money), plus a split from our true masculine nature and the distortions that comes with, and we’ve got a heady concoction of lack and struggle.

It was only approximately 50 years ago that a woman could obtain a mortgage without her husband’s signature in the UK. Women hadn’t used to be allowed to own land – by law! And it’s only in recent years that women in India have been able to open their own bank accounts.

WHY? This feels like one of the most bizarre, controlling and controversial things on our planet.

So where does it come from?

From my experience, the actual root is a perceived lack of ability, self-doubt, and a lack of trust in oneself, leading to a subsequent attempt to fill that void with someone or something else. When it comes to money and women, we usually fill our perceived lack of ability to earn with a man (who provides money, but has his own deficit, usually emotional intelligence, and the ability to care for himself),

And thus, an attachment tug of war ensues. You give me this, and I’ll give you that. That’s what we call a trauma bond—bonded by perceived lack.

These deeply embedded patterns are still very much with us today, affecting many women individually and us all collectively.

It’s keeping us in a position of internal deficit, prostituting ourselves to those who have what we think we can’t create ourselves, which points to a rupture in self-trust and separation from our true nature.

So, the problem isn’t “out there.” It’s the unconscious patterns within—a blend of attachment templates, generational imprints, gendered socialisation and our own outsourcing vs resourcing across our Soul’s Journey—that runs how women charge, receive, retain, manage, and relate with money.

Until we work at these levels, tweaks to pricing, positive affirmations, silent hoping that this time will be different, or just plain trying harder doesn’t create lasting change.

I talk through:

  • Not finding the root, nervous-system override at the moment of charging/receiving, and the feast-and-famine cycle.
  • How gendered programming (be small, be nice, be grateful) fused with attachment patterns, keeps the loop on rewind and repeat.
  • Outsourcing vs resourcing through the soul’s journey – our rupture with self trust and source.
  • What creates real change: a direct, embodied process that restores stability and congruence so your relationship with money feels steady and safe.

I’ve created A FREE guided practice and worksheet to locate your personal glitches and core beliefs in the cycle of money. Download it here >

If you’re ready to stop patching symptoms, blaming ‘the universe’ and resolve the root, I have created and container where we can work through all of this stuff – the Money Patterns Rewired intensive, for women.
