‘Going against our cyclic nature has both psychological and physical consequences.’
MELANIE SWAN
Burnout is all-too common.
When we aren’t listening to our natural pace and going with our natural flow, we create pressure in the psyche and body.
Our adrenals activate and we end up pushing through and opting for ‘busy’.
When our adrenals activate, we can think we’re ok, but we’re not.
We can only run on that fuel for so long.
Eventually our body and nervous system reach a tipping point and say ‘no more’.
This affects our menstrual cycle; if the adrenals are working overtime, they haven’t got the energy to distribute hormones.
If the Liver is busy mopping up excess adrenalin to protect us from this corrosive substance, it’s ability to fuel the menstrual cycle is diminished. *source Medical Medium
Basically, ignoring – or going against our cyclic nature has both psychological and physical consequences.
When we disconnect from our natural internal rhythm, what we’re saying to our body is: either I don’t trust you, or I don’t know HOW to trust you.
And it’s the HOW that I’m here to support you with.
How Do We Connect With Our Natural Internal Rhythm?
Through our menstrual cycle……
We can tune into our cyclic nature and we can listen. Then of course we need to follow through in our day to day lives with the guidance we get.
The menstrual cycle and Womb – which has a consciousness of it’s own – are a grounded, reliable guide.
Once we know how to tune in to this free resource that’s encoded within the body, we can operate with our natural flow, feel and follow our intuition more fully, come off the adrenalin and regain trust with our body.
I’ll say that again!
We can regain TRUST with our body.
This turning of our internal wheel every cycle, can gain momentum. Each cycle more insights come, we trust more, we can relax and drop into our body more, we can develop a sense of ‘being home’ in our own skin, in our female form.
